The Amada FOM2RI 3015 is engineered to include an innovative Rotary Index with the ability to easily switch between flat sheet cutting to tube or pipe cutting on one of three shuttle pallets. Now in the third generation of laser technology, the Amada FO stands out as a true all-rounder. Capable of reliably processing a large mix of materials with accuracy and efficiency, it is able to handle all manner of tube shapes and specs.
Shaw Sheet Metal will be using the new laser to increase its throughput capability and reaction times, at a time when customers want extra flexibility but ever shorter delivery lead times. The FO will make sure Shaw’s commitment to customer service and saying ‘yes’ to last-minute requests can continue.
Added to the recent press brake installation Shaw Sheet will have invested over £1,000,000 over a six month period. Phil Shaw, M.D.is, however, optimistic that the investment will be returned with interest. He said, ‘Like many Midlands businesses we are starting to see stronger demand for our services. It is essential that we are geared up to respond quickly and efficiently and this latest piece of equipment will help us considerably. We know the Amada range inside out, having used their equipment exclusively since 1990, and we are confident the FO will continue to deliver exceptional results for many, many years to come.’
