COMPLETE TURNKEY SOLUTIONS

All of our projects are commissioned to order. We take time to understand the application needs of our customers, whenever possible, so that we can help with optimising design and material specifications. Our considerable experience across a wide range of industries means that very often knowledge gleened from similar work previously undertaken can be used to improve the new job. Sometimes this will lead to cost reduction, other times to strengthening or improving the product itself. We are able to accept files from all the major CAD/CAM software packages.

When the specification is agreed we can supply you with our quotation. We aim to be competitive and invite our customers to talk to us about other prices they may receive. Once agreed there can be a prototyping and testing phase prior to full production.

The complete range of manufacturing equipment is available in-house. This includes computer controlled laser cutting systems with automatic material feed and delivery. These are augmented with computer-assisted guillotines, and bending and shaping facilities along with more manual operations as necessary.

Shaw Sheet Metal have years of experience in class 1 paint finishing, which include powder and wet spray services, and specialist defence coatings including chemical acid resistant and infra-red reflecting. We also offer an inline surface treatment process to degrease and phosphate coat prior to finishing. For larger components up to 2.5 metres in diameter we use the latest technology Vixen 3 stage phosphate wash plant.

The scope of our services makes ours the most complete metalworking facility in the Midlands.
